Eid Al Adha 2023 Announcement

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh,

Eid Prayer at MyCentre

In the spirit of Hajj, the journey of faith, love, and commitment to Allah (SWT), we are pleased to announce that this year’s Eid Al-Adha prayers will take place at MyCentre on Wednesday the 28th of June, beginning sharply at 8:00 AM.

Eid Al-Adha, the ‘Festival of the Sacrifice,’ marks the culmination of the Hajj pilgrimage, a momentous Islamic tradition that brings us together from all walks of life. It reminds us of the Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) unwavering faith and his readiness to sacrifice that which was dearest to him for the sake of Allah (SWT).

As we gather to honour this significant time, we encourage our worshippers to join in IISNA World Aid’s Qurban, a wonderful opportunity to extend our reach of compassion and fulfil the Prophetic tradition of sacrifice.

Parking at MyCentre

On the day, we kindly request everyone to park their vehicles appropriately and considerately, respecting our neighbours. Our community is a reflection of our faith, and every act of kindness and consideration for others is an expression of our faith.

As you prepare to join us, we encourage you to observe the Sunnah of the Eid prayers, from eating before the prayer to reciting the Takbeer, as these rites align us with the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and deepen our connection with the Divine.

Let us embrace this blessed occasion with pure hearts, unifying our community under the banner of Islam. Let us remember that the essence of Hajj and Eid Al-Adha is to strive for a state of heart in which we are willing to surrender everything for the love of Allah (SWT).

Let’s gather together, as one Ummah, to pray, celebrate, and remember the teachings of our faith this Eid Al-Adha.

We look forward to welcoming you at MyCentre.

JazakAllahu Khairan,
